WHO YOU ARE
You are someone who embodies a strong sense of ownership, consistently going above and beyond to ensure exceptional outcomes are delivered. With extensive expertise in constructing technical platforms that significantly enhance efficiency and quality in product development, you excel in hands-on execution, paying meticulous attention to details, and envisioning and driving the strategic vision from a broader perspective. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling seamless collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Your solid startup experience brings valuable insights and you have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup setting, adeptly juggling multiple priorities while adapting to changing market conditions. You embody a proactive and self-motivated approach, with a strong sense of initiative, enabling you to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- As the Product Manager for our Insurance Platform, you will take ownership of the platform's most critical components, fostering customer satisfaction and significantly influencing business outcomes.
- You’ll identify key problems we tackle, get feedback from key stakeholders, prioritize features to plan a roadmap, and work across the company to build solutions
- Work cross functionally with a variety of teams including Engineering, Insurance, Growth and Operations to build innovative insurance products and platform features
- Lead agile product development processes, including writing user stories, managing the product backlog, and conducting sprint planning.
- Proactively gather customer feedback and conduct user research to understand pain points, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform product roadmap decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in the product development process, optimizing efficiency, scalability, and product quality.
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive expertise in constructing technical platforms that significantly enhance efficiency and quality in product development.
- Experience with the business of insurance, or related regulated financial products
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and a track record of successfully managing product development using these frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions, pivot strategies, and make data-driven decisions based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote or distributed team setting, fostering open communication and coordination across different locations.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise product requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
EXTRA CREDIT
- Experience with the business of insurance, or related regulated financial products
- Experience in developing APIs and backend platforms
COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
- The pay range is estimated to be between $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 USD per year.
- When determining the wage range for this role, several factors are considered, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure & certifications, and other business needs. Geographic differentials associated with the location where the position may be filled have not been adjusted in the disclosed range estimate. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, each case is analyzed appropriately.

- Employee + 1 dependent (spouse or children) - $1,287.50
- Employee + family - $1,545.00
- If you waive this Medical benefit as you can receive it elsewhere, Boost contributes $350 per month to help you pay for it!
