THE POSITION:

Sponsorships and Advertising is a fast-growing business at the FanDuel Group that is driving significant revenue across FanDuel products. We are looking for a Director of Ad Product with scale-up experience to lead the new Ad Product Experiences team and partner with key stakeholders across strategy and operations, sales, analytics, product, design, and engineering to manage our ads business efficiently and at scale.

You’ll partner with the Head of Strategy for Sponsorship and Ads and VP Product to build and scale an emerging sports marketing and gaming platform for brands. As the Director of Ad Product, you will be responsible for building a new team within the media products organization while partnering with vertical product and engineering teams to grow our sponsorship and advertising business by building, testing, and enhancing our products that ensures we are meeting our client’s advertising needs, as well as our FanDuel customers value expectations. You will work across the full spectrum of FanDuel products to plan, prioritize, and execute together to build a world-class business at the intersection of sports-tech, gaming, and media.

THE GAME PLAN:

  • Partner to define product strategy and gain buy-in and collaboration across the FanDuel organization
  • Lead development of ad tech stack, vendor evaluation, and partner with sponsorship and ads strategy and operations team to ensure delivery on business requirements
  • Define technical roadmaps and own the delivery of emerging sponsorship and ad product experiences
  • Manage day-to-day product/project management including the definition and delivery of product specifications, requirements, user stories, measurement, methodologies, and reporting dashboards
  • Build collaborative relationships with vertical product and engineering teams by driving priorities aligned to business goals and managing roadmap across upkeep and delivery of new products
  • Lead vision on how data infrastructure will be developed and operationalized to drive adoption across ad tech stack
  • Work with engineering to identity, prioritize, and execute post launch ad product optimizations and improvements
  • Analyze and decision on business metrics and data to inform product pipeline and grow the business

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in product management or technical product management in digital advertising space
  • Strong command of the ad tech landscape and track record vetting and integrating new ad tech solutions
  • Mobile application development experienced with scaled iOS and Android applications required. Platform, sports, and/or iGaming experience preferred
  • Expert in building ad products and demonstrated ability in defining and discussing technical requirements and trade-offs to guide product development
  • Deep experience with ad servers, data platforms, and analytics tools
  • Ability to work in a larger company while working in a fast-paced startup culture; must thrive in navigating ambiguity and an always changing environment
  • High-energy and growth mindset; hungry to challenge the status quo and humble enough to take on any task as we partner to scale a world-class organization
  • Strong passion for FanDuel as a user and deep knowledge of digital media and ad operations landscape
