Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking to expand its VIP department for our online Sportsbook and Casino in the Canadian Market. We are looking for a VIP Director in Canada to lead our team and manage our most important clients.

The VIP Director will manage the Canadian VIP Host team in addition to managing a small portfolio of high-net-worth customers. This person will mentor a team to build strong relationships with their VIP customer portfolios to increase customer loyalty and provide an excellent all-round experience. This position will report into the Canadian General Manager and work closely with Canadian Marketing and Commercial teams along with the US VIP leadership to build plans and manage a world class VIP program for our Canadian business. This is a customer facing environment that requires a good understanding of VIP service and a genuine passion for the online gambling industry.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Effectively manage and coach a FanDuel Group VIP team in order to guide them towards KPI’s for bonus spend, player retention, average player value and real value distribution
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure optimum VIP Player journeys and processes
  • Provide consistent reporting on player revenue figures along with end of month VIP Product reports
  • Deliver against company Responsible Gaming protocols
  • Manage and retain a small portfolio of High Value Players
  • Conduct yearly appraisals for the Canadian VIP team
  • Work closely with Marketing, Commercial and VIP Leadership team to create annual plans and manage the Canadian VIP program, including assessing ROI
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high performing team of VIP Hosts
  • Monitor team performance to ensure that bonuses, gifts, and hospitality invitations are offered in accordance with business requirements
  • Meet and host VIP's at Hospitality events and mentor team members to do the same

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 8+ years' experience in high end customer service field preferred
  • 3-4 years in a team management position preferred
  • Online gaming industry experience essential
  • Strong understanding of the Ontario market and the premium experience options strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven business to customer sales experience
  • Passionate and demonstrate the ability to provide top level service
  • Confident and people focused personality
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability and experience interpreting and present data to senior management
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and delivers against targets and timelines
  • Understanding of Marketing processes
  • Willing and able to work non-traditional business hours
