THE POSITION:

The Sportsbook Regional Manager will lead a team to exceed the targets of a multimillion-dollar turnover business at the various FanDuel Retail-Sportsbook locations.
The Sportsbook Regional Manager will effectively manage a group of sportsbooks and provide daily guidance, support, and ensure operational framework is compliant, strategic and in line with overall Retail Operations strategy.
Works with various stakeholders i.e. Product, Commercial, R&T, HR, amongst many others to ensure operational excellence in all retail sportsbooks.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Effectively lead teams in day-to-day sportsbook operations, provide guidance and ensure operational effectiveness while ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure all management of personnel is properly conducted and work on HR matters including hiring, coaching, managing performance, goal setting and onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with casino, racetracks and stadiums; ensure strong collaborations between FanDuel and on the partner executives and management of respective locations.
• Ensure compliance to all Federal, local and applicable regulations.
• Ensure all necessary communication of key issues and initiatives is properly escalated /cascaded and/or implemented.
• Complete all necessary trackers, recaps and overviews as well as provide feedback on necessary promotions as defined by retail leadership teams.
• Ensure that any customer-impacting issues are dealt with immediately and have the ability to cut through obstacles that prevent this.
• Ensure that our license is protected to the best of your ability - respond immediately to any threats to the license.
• Be aware of the regulations that govern sports betting in each jurisdiction you are responsible for to ensure compliance.
• This role is in the field and travel is based on the needs of the business and proximity to the locations.

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• Minimum of 4 years’ of managerial experience working directly with team across multiple locations
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license and satisfy all regulatory requirements.
• Prior experience as Sportsbook Manager or GM preferred.
• BS/BA degree preferred.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, google slides,
• Self-starter; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to drive both strategy and execution
• Strong collaboration and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in sports or online gaming highly desired
