THE POSITION:
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
We are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone from accounting / consulting / banking to move into both the media and gaming industry. You will report directly to the VP of Commercial Strategy for FanDuel TV and collaborate with marketing, product, production and other commercial teams across the Group to derive insights for FanDuel TV and the rest of FanDuel’s content arm in order to drive actionable insights about the business.
THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Work to produce insights and drivers of business performance for the content business
- Prepare business cases and provide weekly insights on audience trends, and the impact of content on the FanDuel’s wider wagering business
- Create, modify and evolve models and data visualizations to better understand and explain various KPIs for stakeholders (internal and external)
- Work with the Group analytics team to create and maintain automated reporting processes visible to group-wide teams
- Participate in presentations focused on using analysis to drive new business outcomes
- Field and fulfill requests for various business inquires
- Work alongside data and product teams to ensure all new product launches have adequate commercial particulars
THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- A minimum of three years’ experience in an accounting, consulting or analytics role preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a business, accounting or highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.)
- Strong personal organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
- Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills as a must; working knowledge of SQL (or an ability to learn it quickly) preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, allied with track record of transforming data into actionable business insight
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra year projects
- Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries and time zones preferred
- Interest in Sports, TV or Gaming preferred

The applicable salary range for this position is $92,000 - $127,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
This role includes flexible time off and 13 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
