THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

The Analyst will support the Racing Commercial team and other Stakeholders to optimize our horse racing proposition and guide our approach to the overall strategy. They will play an important role in deriving business and customer insights, monitoring business performance and spotting trends. You will work alongside other analysts both individually and collaboratively to evolve and improve ways of working and how key Stakeholders understand the most important KPIs and drivers for the business.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Produce insights on customer behavior as well as general comparative trends
• Establish measures of success and create, modify, and evolve data visualizations to better understand and explain KPI performance
• Maintain and create automated reporting processes used by all Racing Stakeholders
• Evaluate and assess ROI of new ideas and build business cases to support investment decisions
• Prepare and present findings showcasing analysis to improve existing business outcomes and drive new ones
• Field and fulfill various requests for key Stakeholders

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative or analytics program of study preferred
• Professional and/or academic experience in commercial/analytics/strategy/customer intelligence is preferred
• Proficiency with SQL and Excel required
• Experience with analytic tools (e.g. KNIME, Alteryx, SAS, etc.) desired
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) preferred
• Critical thinking skills allied with strong problem solving ability a positive
• Ability to independently work in a fast paced environment
• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders across the organization to get things done
• Ability to clearly communicate analysis and express ideas
• While not necessary, knowledge of horse racing, sports gaming, and/or fantasy sports is preferred
• Willingness to be curious, dig in, ask questions, and challenge

The applicable salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.

This role includes flexible time off (including unlimited paid time off for full-time employees) and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
