THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a seasoned Finance Manager to join our team in New York. This position will manage the interpretation, analysis and commercial support for our Sports Agreements and will serve as a cross-functional business partner for a variety of stakeholders. The candidate will possess a combination of technical, problem solving and communication skills who thrives in a rapidly changing environment. The position will report into the Finance Senior Manager.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Act as Finance Manager supporting the Sports business (Sportsbook, Racing and Daily Fantasy) to oversee the interpretation and analysis of complex contracts
• Evaluate, interpret, and summarize agreements with internal/external stakeholders to determine appropriate performance indicators, financial impacts, and reporting requirements
• Drive improvements in operational efficiency by proactively streamlining processes and enhancing reporting and insights
• Act as a touchpoint among finance, commercial, legal and procurement establishing best practices with respect to contract negotiations and vendor management
• Help lead the implementation of best practices to simplify, standardize and scale our business
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Sports agreements and serve as a subject-matter expert across the FP&A and Accounting teams ensuring the implementation of all contract nuances
• Address ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• 5+ years of experience (preferably across Financial Analysis / Accounting / Commercial)
• Exceptional organizational, communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to think creatively and see the big picture while maintaining a laser-focused attention
• Exceptional financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and solution oriented in nature with a track record and passion for process improvement
• Exceptional Excel skills, comfortable dealing with large data volume
• High level of confidence, energy, and the desire to work in a super-charged industry
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Experience in sports, gambling, or entertainment a plus!

The applicable salary range for this position is $104,000 - $130,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.

This role includes flexible time off (including unlimited paid time off for full-time employees) and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
