THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Customer Marketing Senior Manager with a primary focus on customer Generosity. This role will drive forward our customer retention and investment initiatives. You will play a key role on the Customer Marketing team, collaborating with multiple departments within the company including but not limited to Brand, Commercial, Growth, Product, and Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Responsible for managing a multi-million dollar monthly budget - investing in the right player at the right time through the right channel
  • Lead and advise the Casino Customer Marketing team to constantly optimize the spend, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and efficacy of bonusing
  • Lead on reporting against the investment budget and progress against key initiatives
  • Own and oversee the long-term evolution of generosity, mapping out how it will evolve over a multi-year period considering micro and macro influencing factors
  • Monitor the business performance, key drivers and trends, and report regularly to leadership on progress against strategic priorities
  • Work closely with Commercial and Analytics to build-out robust generosity reporting and to deliver sophisticated investment models for the wider team to utilize
  • Partner with Product to ensure new tools/capabilities set the team up for success and provide adequate visibility into generosity streams
  • Keep tabs on the competitive generosity landscape (e.g. promotions, loyalty, etc.) by state
  • Drive collaboration with key stakeholders to collaborate on investment strategies and maintain a continuous feedback loop. Serve as a subject-matter expert, advising business stakeholders on best practices

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 6+ years of experience in a commercially led function, with demonstrable experience of managing and optimizing a large budget
  • Commercial acumen: advanced numerical literacy and understanding of business principles, understand the levers that can be pulled
  • Proficient in providing process and structure to budget investment and reporting management (very strong Microsoft Excel skills a must)
  • Understand the different components of a P&L and is familiar with the budgeting process
  • SQL/Data-Mining experience a plus
  • Has a positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
  • Strong organizational skills & effective at project management
  • Willing to work nontraditional hours, including weekends and evening shifts
  • Knowledge of iGaming and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $124,000 - $155,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
