THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

IT Operations are the 24*7 first line support function for FanDuel Technology. The team monitor and support all FanDuel customer facing products and services and their underlying infrastructure and applications by

- proactively monitoring our products and services 24/7 for any deviations from normal operating levels.

- reacting immediately in the event of an incident and driving resolution of that incident in the shortest time possible.

- communicating clearly with our product stakeholders in the event of a significant incident.

- building trusting relationships with product and technology stakeholders and always being available, approachable, responsive and engaging.

The Shift Leads primary function is to ensure the health of FanDuel customer facing products and react quickly to any incidents that arise on your shift pattern. The role involves working closely with other Operations teams, Engineering teams within FanDuel and Flutter to champion operational excellence to identify opportunities to deliver more value.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Oversee shift activities, ensuring appropriate workload management and task allocation.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for external queries during shifts.
  • Ensure high-quality communication from IT Operations.
  • Function as an internal escalation point and advocate for IT Operations support engineers.
  • Contribute to shift planning.
  • Help define and maintain shift reporting for key IT Operations activities.
  • Lead Continual Service Improvement initiatives by working with key stake holders.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate IT Operations Engineers to meet key KPIs and service level agreements.
  • Direct line management including conducting performance appraisals and reviews for shift members.
  • Manage the development and execution of team development plans for retaining and progressing team members.
  • Support the IT Operations Director in implementing processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.

The applicable hourly range for this position is $39.00/hr - $45.00/hr, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
