THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
As a DevOps Manager, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers to deliver automation, tooling, and support common components across our tribe. You and your team will be working as part of a multiple-team, multiple-location environment contributing to delivering best-in-class products that delight our customers. Using lean and agile methodologies, you will be responsible for the pace, scale, and performance of your team delivery. Having a technical background, with experience in all aspects of software delivery processes, from inception, to release, will set you up for success.
As a DevOps Manager, you will also be accountable for hiring, performance appraisal, and the reward of your team, focusing on helping your people define their career paths and goals for the short and long term.
Your exceptional communication skills will be key, not only to leading your team through a challenging, continuously changing environment, but also to your constant interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
Support to delivery:
- You will support the Sportsbook and Trading Tribe delivery teams by owning and supporting the shelf in in-house created systems;
- You will support the engineering community of the tribe, working to identify opportunities to automate and simplify processes while reducing operational overheads;
- You will work with Service management and the operations management team to ensure service, stability, and security are maintained across our platforms.
Operational excellence:
- Understands intimately the dependencies between components and how they combine to deliver service to the end consumer;
- Ensure high levels of uptime and rapid resolution of customer-facing issues, ensuring the right level of support to meet our business needs and customer expectations;
- Experience in leading operational (DevOps) teams;
- Experience developing distributed, redundant, and transactional systems;
- Ability to set priorities and focus teams on what is most important;
- Structured thinking and a clear ability to plan and deliver customer outcomes;
- Experience working closely with other technology teams.

The applicable salary range for this position is $141,000 - $190,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
