THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Consumer Insights and Strategy Manager to join our Canada team! In this role, you will be responsible for conducting deep analysis of internal customer and external consumer data, forming data points into insights, managing brand health tracking and providing recommendations to shape business decisions and marketing strategies across Sportsbook and Casino verticals. As manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders within the commercial, marketing, and product teams, while building and maintaining relationships with various external data partners.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

- Own the measurement, analysis, and reporting of consumer-level metrics; making strategic recommendations to the marketing team and beyond.
- Own the management of brand health tracking to connect the dots between consumer insights and day-to-day marketing activities
- Transform data and insights into cohesive, outcome-oriented stories and brand strategies.
- Lead consumer research projects that support the strategic direction of content and brand initiatives across owned channels as well as with partners
- Understand and tap into cultural insights that support brief development and brand positioning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and analyze customer data, including surveys, usage data, engagements, and other voice of the customer feedback.
- Be the subject matter expert on external and internal data collection tools.
- Optimize a process for gathering internal customer data and disseminating it across the organization and develop strategies to improve internal customer metrics.
- Work alongside external partners, optimizing dashboards and survey-drive data collection.
- Tailor and present insights and findings to internal and external stakeholders
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years’ experiences in market insights related field both on the qualitative and quantitative projects
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Track record of developing brand strategies
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and communication skills – both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a highly regulated and complex industry.
- Understanding of iGaming category considered an asset.
- Proven ability to innovate and create differentiating, proprietary marketing programs to build brand leadership.
- Proven track record of growing and developing people
- Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $90,000 - $113,000 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand.
