THE POSITION

FanDuel Group is looking to add a Risk Mitigation Technology Senior Associate to its Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) Team. The Senior Associate will be a part of the FCC Strategy & Governance Team and will responsible for supporting the Risk Mitigation Technology Manager and working with FanDuel’s Financial Crimes Compliance Operational Teams to implement and develop transaction monitoring and customer risk rating tools, methodologies and scenarios in response to developing typologies, testing and tuning existing scenarios and customer risk ratings, and providing subject matter expertise regarding the transaction monitoring and customer risk rating tools used by FanDuel. The Senior Associate will also support the implementation and ongoing execution of negative news screening from a technological perspective. In this role, the Senior Associate will work with both the FCC Operations Teams covering both the U.S. and Canada. The Senior Associate will also be responsible for supporting the Risk Mitigation Technology Manager with working with the FCC Strategy & Governance Senior Manager to design and implement the FCC Quality Assurance Program.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of FanDuel’s AML transaction monitoring, customer risk rating and ongoing screening tool through design and testing of scenarios and methodologies and other activities in coordination with FCC Operations Teams in the U.S. and Canada;
  • Support the ongoing performance of the testing and tuning of scenarios and methodologies to develop data-driven insights and enhancements;
  • Document processes and maintain historical records related to implementation and ongoing testing and tuning;
  • Identify opportunities for the use of additional technologies to mitigate FanDuel’s financial crimes compliance risk and stay abreast of industry and regulatory developments in these areas;
  • Collaborate with the Risk Mitigation Technology Manager and the Senior Manager of Financial Crimes Compliance Strategy & Governance on the design and implementation of the Financial Crimes Quality Assurance Program; and other special projects as needed

THE STATS

  • Approximately three years working in a highly regulated financial institution or gaming company;
  • Experience working in financial crimes compliance operations, including with transaction monitoring and customer risk rating tool implementation and data testing;
  • Demonstrated aptitude for process implementation, execution and enhancement.

The applicable salary range for this position is $66,000 - $82,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
