THE POSITION

We are seeking a talented and motivated User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our Atlanta based team. This individual will play a critical role in deepening our understanding of users and enhancing our products by applying user-centered design principles and delivering impactful research. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UX Research principles, a passion for understanding user behaviors, and the ability to connect research findings to actionable product improvements.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

- User-Centered Design Feedback: Provide user-centered feedback on designs, ensuring alignment with user needs across multiple platforms and devices.
- Product & Business Familiarity:
- Master the intricacies of the product, including relevant user journeys, challenges, and needs.
- Gain a strong understanding of the FanDuel business landscape, its goals, and strategic priorities.
- Proactive Product Improvement: Identify areas for product enhancement and provide well-researched recommendations for potential solutions.
- Research Methodology Selection: Choose appropriate research methods tailored to different types of inquiries and document the rationale behind each selection.
- User Research Execution:

- Successfully plan, organize, and conduct unmoderated and moderated user research sessions.
- Take measurable steps to improve research techniques and learn from more complex studies by shadowing experienced researchers.
- Data Integration: Begin integrating analytics and experimentation data into research planning and reporting, leveraging support as needed to expand capabilities.
- Actionable Research Application: Proactively suggest and conduct research initiatives that directly target product priorities and address gaps in user knowledge. Ensure findings are effectively translated into actionable recommendations for the product team

- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and their application across diverse platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to connect research insights to product development and business goals.
- Experience with diverse qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics integration.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and execute user research independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
- Familiarity with research tools and platforms used for unmoderated and moderated testing.
- Analytical mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing user pain points.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working with digital products and services in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the online Sportsbook, Casino, Horse Racing, and/or Fantasy Sports or entertainment industries is a plus.

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $129,250 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
