THE POSITION

FanDuel is seeking a Product Manager to support the planning and execution of successful product initiatives in the Live Sports Betting category. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Design, Research, Analytics, Engineering, and External Partners to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and align with FanDuel’s business objectives. If you’re a strong product manager with a passion for Sports and delighting customers, this may be the role for you.

Product Managers on the Sportsbook team take responsibility for discovery, planning, strategy, execution, and analysis of a significant segment of our portfolio, focusing on creating betting products our fans will love. They should be consumer-obsessed, understanding how to use both quantitative and qualitative data as well as product discovery and design techniques to make our experiences more fun and exciting, anticipating the next key feature that our fans want even before they know they want it.

Initiatives will be a mix of back-end and front-end work, with a focus on using our cutting-edge technology to improve ease of use and generate excitement in the Live Sports Betting space.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

  • Assess product opportunities and contribute meaningfully to ideation and prioritization for new initiatives and products
  • Inform, shape, and drive execution of product initiatives
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Design, Research, Analytics, Engineering, and Operational functions to ensure successful product deliveries and launches
  • Ensure transparency and alignment with organizational stakeholders
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute post-launch optimizations and improvements
  • Establish, track and report objectively on product performance metrics
  • Establish and maintain domain expertise on the product, market, and competitors

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering successful and innovative products
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data quickly to inform the right decisions
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables
  • Demonstrated success cross-functionally influencing teams without formal authority
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resourcing, time, and quality
  • Interest in and knowledge of sports, casino and/or sports betting is valuable but not required
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $129,250 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
