FanDuel is seeking a strategic Enterprise Risk Manager reporting to the Enterprise Risk Director to evolve and execute our Enterprise Risk Governance strategy — a critical foundation that transforms risk management from a compliance function into a strategic growth accelerator. This role will also enhance risk reporting processes and mechanisms, spearhead the development of our Crisis Management Framework and act as a bridge to our parent company, Flutter, ensuring alignment and seamless integration with its frameworks and requirements. The Enterprise Risk Manager will oversee a team of risk Associates to facilitate their growth and development.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Risk Strategy & Governance
- Optimize FanDuel’s risk governance infrastructure and framework that scales with the business by leading the strategic evolution of FanDuel's Risk and Compliance Committee (RCC) and integration with our parent company, Flutter’s, risk committee (BRSC) protocols
- Drive organizational risk awareness by establishing systematic identification and prioritization of critical risk mitigation initiatives requiring escalation to the RCC and/or BRSC, ensuring seamless risk communication flows across all enterprise levels and strategic alignment with business objectives
- Partner with business stakeholders to execute enterprise risk strategy through the creation of sophisticated executive decks, reports, dashboards and analytics that transform complex risk data into forward-looking strategic decision-making tools used by the RCC and BRSC
- Work closely with Enterprise Risk Director to continuously enhance and mature FanDuel’s Risk strategy and governance
Risk Reporting
- Create and maintain integrated dashboards that enable risk stakeholders and leadership to anticipate emerging / escalating risks, optimize strategic decisions, and support strategic alignment
- Design risk reporting standards that ensure consistency and clarity in risk communication and transforms complex risk data into concise executive-level reporting
- Partner with risk managers to develop key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics that provide early warning signals and trend analysis to be used in periodic reporting that aligns to FanDuel’s top risk and strategic objectives
- Coordinate and deliver roll-up reporting deliverables to Group Risk and CoSec
- Drive innovation and foster cross-team collaboration to align on FanDuel’s risk reporting requirements
Crisis Management
- Architect and operationalize FanDuel's enterprise-wide Crisis Management Framework that enables rapid response to platform disruptions and protects FanDuel during critical business events
- Centrally guide and enforce Crisis Management governance and standards across the enterprise to ensure consistent implementation of the Framework
- Establish and develop educational needs for enhanced coordination and alignment on the Framework across the enterprise
Technology & Tooling
- Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the GRC tool, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization
- Lead initiatives to customize the GRC tool to meet the unique requirements of the organizations and scale with the business (e.g., developing dashboards and reports, integration into Jira and other tools)
General
- Collaborate with Flutter to ensure alignment with parent company risk frameworks and reporting requirements, and advise on enhancements to existing programs
- Lead team of risk associates responsible for supporting Enterprise Risk Program administration and identify areas for additional involvement
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years’ related experience; 2+ years management experience
- Management, risk or compliance consulting background a plus, but not required
- Experience drafting executive summaries, reporting, and/or presenting to senior and executive leadership
- Experience in developing and executing enterprise-wide governance strategies
- Strong project and program management capabilities
- Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Dedicated team player who is able to withstand the high demands of a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organized, results driven, problem solver, and collaborator

The applicable salary range for this position is $121,000 - $151,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
