THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We’re looking for a Content Designer to join our UX & Product Design practice in Atlanta to help shape the content touchpoints and content strategy for our Core areas of FanDuel.

As part of our content team, you’ll help shape how millions of customers experience FanDuel every day, using language to make complex interactions simple, clear, and human. Your work will directly influence how people connect with our products and our brand, helping to bring our vision to life through content.

Our Content Designers craft meaningful content experiences for new features and products while continuously improving existing ones our customers already love. Through clear, expressive writing, thoughtful collaboration, balancing customer and business needs, content designers at FanDuel help build products and experiences that feel intuitive at every touchpoint.

This is an opportunity to help shape how content design is practiced in our Core team, helping to define standards, mentor others, and raise the quality bar across our core experiences.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that values content design as an equal partner in shaping the product experience, not an afterthought.

  • Improve products through clear, compelling, user-centered content:
Collaborate with product designers and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and enhance key content touchpoints, on and off our apps; from refining information architecture to strengthening content strategy or aligning UI design with the right message.
  • Advocate for the user:
Partner with UX research, product management, and design to gather insights that inform your content decisions. Ensure the user’s needs, motivations, and behaviors are reflected in every content strategy and product experience.
  • Strengthen our brand:
Work closely with the marketing team to maintain a consistent voice and tone across all product and marketing content. Balance representing the brand with representing the user in every piece of copy.

  • Communicate and collaborate:
Present your work with clarity and storytelling, framing your decisions with data-backed insights and UX research findings. Foster open, collaborative conversations within cross-functional teams to build trust and alignment.
  • Test, execute, and iterate:
Deliver, measure and communicate impact at every stage of the design process, not just through copy documents. Collaborate with research, product, and data teams to evaluate content performance and continuously refine the experience.
  • Shape our design system:
Raise the bar for clarity and consistency across product content by evolving our content design guidelines as part of our broader design system foundation.

  • Enabling Others
Providing guidance and tools to help others complete smaller content asks themselves.
