Project Manager, People & Culture

Alma is seeking a mission-driven Project Manager to join our People & Culture (P&C) team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading project management efforts for HR initiatives. This role will own various projects from conception to completion in support of our scaling P&C team and growing company. The ideal candidate is an HR Professional who possesses strong critical thinking skills and has prior project experience.

What you’ll do:

• Lead project management efforts for HR initiatives, including task tracking, documenting, monitoring timelines, reviewing resource needs, escalating risks as appropriate, and driving to project completion
• Provide on-the-ground support to help execute the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities
• Perform data and workflow analysis to determine best solutions for HR processes
• Develop detailed project plans, route deliverables, supply status reports, and supervise implementation of key initiatives
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and facilitate cross functional team meetings
• Establish, cultivate and maintain strong working relationships within the People & Culture organization and ensure a clear understanding of operational objectives relative to projects
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating HR processes and procedures and proposing solutions that will better meet the needs of the organization

Who you are:

• You have 3+ years of Human Resources, Project Management or related experience
• You have experience leading and managing projects or project teams
• You demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with an attention to detail
• You have an analytical mindset and are proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
• You have experience navigating and mitigating risks associated with project management including scheduling, resources, and stakeholder management.
• You have the ability to present ideas and bodies of work to small and large audiences
• You are self-directed with the ability to set priorities, plan, and organize tasks and deliverables as needs evolve.
• You have a deep understanding and knowledge of HR processes and industry best practices.

Salary Band: $110,00 - $135,000
