Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

The Business Development Manager creates partnerships with Resellers/Retailers and Carriers, formulating strategies to deliver revenue growth with AppleCare agreement sales and parts sales. You will work with a cross-functional team in developing strategies and business cases, structuring and executing partnerships, and driving pivotal initiatives to grow our AppleCare Services business.

As part of the AppleCare Sales team, you will align projects and programs across multiple divisions to ensure successful execution of the sales strategies and programs in your assigned countries.

The role will drive expansion and lay the foundation for the AppleCare business in new markets/geos/countries. As well as lead cross functional strategic projects to help develop and support the business across EMEIA. Reporting to the EMEIA AppleCare Sales Director, the role is based in London and will require substantial travel across EMEIA.

Description

As an AppleCare Sales BDM you are responsible for developing the business within EMEIA. The key tasks involve:

Drive regional sales results across your assigned countries. Builds and execute tactical activities with team-members to achieve regional/country targets.

Developing and executing strategic plans for country and accounts, defining the go to market approach for each country. Provide regular reporting on key achievements in business reviews.

Execute tactical performance programs with the partners to achieve the quarterly/yearly accounts and country targets.

Manage key accounts in your assigned countries. Drive weekly customer engagement and implement account plans. Build and maintain relationships with with the local insurer teams in each country.

Collaborate internally with various Apple team to achieve results. They include besides the Apple Care teams (Sales Support, Field Service Teams, Sales Development teams) the finished goods Country Leadership team (Consumer/Carrier leads) and Account Execs for key accounts

Inspire and educate the finished goods country teams to promote AppleCare products.

Lead negotiations for AppleCare Service contracts with Retailers, Carriers and Insurers in your assigned regions/countries.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales in the consumer electronics or telecom industry, having influenced and driven performance through partners while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Alternatively consulting background in these industries. Understanding of the B2C service business and go-to-market strategies for extended service and support agreements.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and presentation skills with experience navigating complex sales situations.
  • High comfort in dealing with C-level within Apple and at the Partner account level
  • Analytical Skills: Self-starter with an analytical orientation, strategic vision, and strong executional track record. A strong command of business and financial modeling is important to success in this role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with strong networking ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with the largest Carriers and Retailers
  • Knowledge of additional European languages like French, Italian, German
