We are looking for an experienced, data-driven, results-oriented and dedicated Business Manager who will be working closely with our game developer partners to help them identify growth opportunities and enhance business success on the App Store. In this role, you will use your industry experience, critical-thinking skills and deep interest in media and technology to help game developers grow their businesses across global markets on the App Store, in close collaboration with other cross-functional teams at Apple.

We are looking for an experienced, data-driven, results-oriented and dedicated Business Manager who will be working closely with our game developer partners to help them identify growth opportunities and enhance business success on the App Store. In this role, you will use your industry experience, critical-thinking skills and deep interest in media and technology to help game developers grow their businesses across global markets on the App Store, in close collaboration with other cross-functional teams at Apple.
Description
- Drive revenue growth on the App Store by developing and executing on locally relevant growth strategies, rooted in robust data-driven analysis.
- Build and maintain close relationships with top game developers and help them grow their business on the App Store by providing them with actionable business guidance based on data-driven insights, driving product and commerce feature adoption, and through the identification of new content and business opportunities.
- Drive global growth for developers across both domestic and export markets.
- Identify new market, industry and competitive trends, business opportunities and risks, and key partners to engage with and develop.
- Collaborate closely with both local and international cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Editorial, Marketing and Appleʼs Worldwide Developer Relations team, to drive the shared goal of fostering developer growth on the App Store.
- 10+ years of relevant industry work experience in business development or business management, with in-depth subject matter expertise on the mobile games market and industry.
- Experience in growing mobile games businesses across domestic and international markets.
- Deep understanding of mobile free-to-play products, related business metrics, and how to optimize for them.
- Outstanding partnership management skills and ability to foster strong internal and external relationships.
- Strong knowledge on alternative distribution channels and alternative payments.
- Solid understanding of competitive and 3rd party products and competitor strategies.
- Proven track record of successful business deals, working with many groups to achieve goals.
- Strong project management skills as well as proficiency with Keynote and Numbers.
- Proven ability to use data and insights to identify impactful actionable recommendations.
- Excellent presentation skills and outstanding attention to details.
- Excellent written & verbal business interpersonal skills in Chinese and English are required.
- Results-oriented, upbeat and focused with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
- BA / BSc or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
