The regulatory team is looking for an experienced engineer with an excellent understanding of Product certifications, the Indian ICT regulatory ecosystem, established relationships, problem-solving, excellent communication and project management skills. The person should be a good team player and technology enthusiast.

Description

• Regulatory and policy engagements related to technology and products certifications in India.
• Will be studying new regulations and working closely with Regulators, Policy Makers, Standardization Bodies, Industry Associations, Business Chambers to come up with compliance requirements and comprehensive solutions.
• Assessment of product security testing requirements, handling ICT/Telecom certifications.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communications/Telecommunications field
• 8-12 years of relevant work experience. Hands-on experience for testing and certification of ICT/Telecom products/Consumer electronic devices.
• Program/Project Management skills and managing complex projects with different stakeholders (internal, external including. partner management and Labs)
• In-depth understanding and experience of standard analysis, compliance assessment, product assessment, test schedules, analyzing test reports and testing of ICT end user devices.
• Experience in handling Indian Regulators, Regulatory requirements in India with credible relationships
• Excellent understanding of 3GPP, IEEE, IPv6 standards.
• In-depth knowledge of RF testing, frequency Spectrum and sound understanding of ETSI EN 300 328, ETSI EN 303 687, EN 300 440, ETSI EN 301 893 etc.
• Good knowledge of NFC, RFID, WPT, WLAN 2.4/5/6 GHz, BT/BLE, Zigbee, UWB, etc.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communications/Telecommunications field
• Consumer electronics products/Telecom/ IT sector experience with multinational experience.
• Experience of Product/Device Security Certifications from regulatory bodies
• Understanding the Security stack of devices- Hardware, OS and Applications
• Skilled in programming languages
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication skills, both written & verbal
• Ambitious and dedicated, able to work independently as well as in multi-functional teams.
• Good understanding of product life cycle.
