Apple's camera colour algorithm team is looking for talented engineers to shape the future of photography and video across all Apple products. You'll work on cutting-edge camera technology, image signal processing, and machine learning, literally defining what makes an Apple camera better. As a Camera Colour Algorithm Engineer at Apple, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how our products capture and render colour. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative algorithms, diagnosing issues and fine-tuning parameters. You’ll collaborate with HW & SW engineers, the architecture team, and the sensor team throughout the product development process. We’re seeking a strong problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional work and is passionate about superior colour rendering.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Imaging Science, Optics, or a related field.
- Experience in algorithm development, complex problem-solving and colour image processing.
- Skills in camera colour characterisation.
- Proficient in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Imaging Science, Optics, or 3+ year of relevant industry experience
- Experience in camera ISP algorithms, including AWB and colour conversion
- Background in computational photography and machine learning
- Strong skills in diagnosing complex colour issues and fine-tuning parameters
- Spectral image processing experience is a plus
- Self-driven and passionate about achieving excellent colour image quality
- Practical experience in machine learning development and C++ programming
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
