Description

This role focuses on TFT process development and device integration for advanced display technologies. You will drive process integration activities, perform failure analysis, and contribute to the development of next-generation TFT architectures. The position involves both independent research and collaborative teamwork to solve complex engineering challenges in display technology.

Responsibilities

  • Drive process integration for TFT display technologies including photolithography, thin film deposition, and etching processes.
  • Perform device physics analysis and characterization of a-Si TFT, Metal Oxide TFT, and LTPS TFT technologies.
  • Conduct failure analysis of pixel circuits and develop solutions for process optimization.
  • Execute simulation work using TCAD, FMEA, FDTD and other modeling tools for process and device development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance TFT architecture and new display technology initiatives.
  • Document technical findings and present results to internal stakeholders.
  • Support metrology and characterization activities for critical-to-quality parameters.
  • Contribute to pathfinding research for emerging display technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in semiconductor, flat panel display processes and equipment technology, or equally educational experience
  • Strong technical communication skills in both written and oral presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on research projects while contributing effectively to team efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with display or microelectronics processes including photolithography, thin film deposition, dry/wet etching, metrology, and characterization
  • Knowledge of device physics for TFT technologies (a-Si TFT, Metal Oxide TFT, LTPS TFT)
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as TCAD, FMEA, FDTD, and data processing software
  • Understanding of pixel circuit design and failure analysis methodologies
  • Experience with process integration in semiconductor or display manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
