Apple is looking for a Supply Demand Planner to develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans for a current or future product line. Product line assignments will be made at the time of hire in any of Apple's multi-billion dollar businesses, including Mac, iPad, iPhone, Wearables, and Accessories.
Supply Demand Planning team is the voice of Apple's worldwide customers to the production and operations teams, serving as the liaison between Apple's headquarters, Operations teams, and OEM partners across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries.

Description
Apple is looking for a Supply Demand Planner to develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans for a current or future product line. Product line assignments will be made at the time of hire in any of Apple's multi-billion dollar businesses, including Mac, iPad, iPhone, Wearables, and Accessories.
Supply Demand Planning team is the voice of Apple's worldwide customers to the production and operations teams, serving as the liaison between Apple's headquarters, Operations teams, and OEM partners across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries.
Responsibilities
- Forecast demand, manage inventory, and conduct multi-channel sell-through analysis to generate and execute weekly and quarterly supply plans aligned with Apple's financial objectives.
- Evaluate supply and demand risks proactively, develop contingency strategies, and implement mitigation plans to maintain supply continuity.
- Define new product introduction (NPI) launch strategies, including target setting and execution planning, while managing day-to-day NPI planning to ensure smooth and timely product transitions.
- Partner with Operations teams on manufacturing site strategy development and factory capacity planning based on demand projections; communicate risks clearly and provide prioritization recommendations during periods of constraint.
- Collaborate with global procurement teams to develop allocation strategies for constrained components, securing customer commitments under optimized conditions.
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) partners and Operations and Logistics teams to develop and execute detailed fulfillment plans that support an outstanding end-to-end customer experience.
- Present product updates, supply outlooks, and recommended actions to senior operations leadership on a regular cadence, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the product planning function, mobilize cross-functional resources, and drive initiatives through to completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or a role that requires structured quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build models, analyze large datasets, and generate actionable reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a track record of building productive working relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
- Experience applying predictive modeling or optimization techniques, such as solver tools or AI/ML methods, to improve supply planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency with data visualization platforms, such as Tableau, to translate complex datasets into clear and compelling narratives for decision-makers.
- Hands-on experience with programming or querying languages, such as SQL or Python, for data extraction, analysis, or workflow automation.
- Background in consumer electronics supply chain, including experience with new product introduction planning, product transitions, and end-of-life management.
- Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings and communicate data-driven recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, structured, and persuasive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and globally distributed environment, adapting plans quickly in response to changing conditions.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects from ideation to completion, aligning diverse stakeholders and maintaining momentum across organizational boundaries.
