We are seeking a Corporate Communications Manager in Korea.

This role will drive the development and implementation of a focused corporate comms strategy to proactively communicate Apple messages to targeted media and influencers.

Description
The Corporate Communications Manager will drive the development and implementation of a focused corporate comms strategy to proactively communicate Apple messages to targeted media and influencers.

The role requires an ability to think strategically and to execute activations with a high attention to detail. It also requires a proven ability to anticipate, manage and mitigate PR issues, working closely with local and global teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead activities with media and content creators in the country to manage the company’s corporate reputation in Korea
  • Help to communicate Apple’s contribution locally, focused on key areas such as our economic contribution, culture and education, customer privacy, and environmental leadership
  • Devise and implement global communications initiatives that resonate with the local audience. Responsibilities will include strategic planning and execution, identifying and managing issues in a fast-paced environment and continuous news cycle
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the activity that increases awareness and understanding. This may include other product PR managers, Product Marketing and Marcom teams as well as GA and legal teams across the organization

Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years experience in corporate communications (agency or in-house), policy communications, public affairs experience a plus
  • Proven track record in media relations with an established, high-level network spanning media contacts, government press officers, and influential voices in tech and consumer lifestyle
  • Fluency in Korean and English required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced in delivering creative corporate PR campaigns that have significant impact
  • Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Capable of navigating ambiguity and managing complex issues across diverse agendas. Highly skilled at multitasking, delivering under tight deadlines, and adapting quickly to change
  • Highly collaborative with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build strong, cross-functional relationships
  • Skilled in developing strategic messaging that translates complex concepts into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Adept at Understanding internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
