We’re continuing to grow quickly and looking for the best of the best to come join our team.The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team provides specialized analytical and finance support services in support of Tend's development and operations. The FP&A team drives key processes including long-range financial planning, external and internal trend analysis, annual plan target setting, annual plan support and financial performance analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, explain, and present the financial performance and plans of the business
- Work with a variety of stakeholders to gather inputs, validate recommendations, and provide support
- Provide a meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations for financial performance
- Communicate analysis and recommendations in clear, succinct manner with executive presence
- Support an efficient and effective planning process that produces accurate and logical plans
Deliverables & Projects:
- Strategic business support: financial insights & guidance
- Projects: join, support, lead and/or develop projects to drive business
- Development: assist development team in launching new studios, provide feedback on site selection, forecast
- Forecasting: forecast financial performance and all financial statements
- Financial reporting: monthly financial reviews, weekly financial metrics, scorecards
- Month End accounting: development, analysis, and delivery of month end journal entries
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related subject
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant finance experience, focus on Financial Planning and Analysis preferred
- Proved ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
- Building dashboards in a Business Intelligence tool, such as Google Looker, Tableau, Power BI
- Project management
- Problem solving skills
- Business process improvement
- Attention to detail
- Creativity in analyzing complex and ambiguous business issues and datasets
